Hi all! I just bought a used 98 Disco LSE. Despite a few strange problems, the truck is great. My question is...while accelerating the truck shifts hard (shutters then jolts) from 1st to 2nd gear...and slightly less severe from 2nd to 3rd. Is this normal? Its not too bad, but noticeable. If I accelerate slowly, it doesnt really happen. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Tad Biskup Oh yeah...my interior dash lights are kinda dim too (at night; dial is turned all the way up). this normal? |

Tad, Start with the basics and make sure your fluid levels are good. You would not believe the amount of used Rovers I have seen with similar issues due to a very simple fix...add fluid. You need to check it first thing in the morning in neutral.. Start the truck and run it through all the gears in park mode and leave it in neutral...Check your level.. Best of luck and keep us posted..
