some people will disagree with this, but unhook your battery for a few seconds. since you have a 95, should not set off your abs or any other lights, but I can't guarantee that. it will reset your check engine light though. make sure to have your radio code as you will need to enter that. i've had my 95 for about 4 years now, and have disconnected my battery probably 30 times or so, to hook up stuff, work on the truck and to reset check engine light a couple of times, never any problems. |

you can clear the ecu that way with no ill effects.(disconecting the battery). yes you will need the code for the radio. i would only add that i would leave it disconected for atleast a minute or two. just to make sure there is no residual power stored in the computer ya know resistor stuff. |

hey joey, I tried what is on that site but the code reappears??? Does it mean the sensor is malfunctioning?? The light only came on when I unplugged the stupid sensor. If i could avoid disconnecting the battery I will, I don't think I have the radio code handy. Thanks Guys |

If the light only came on after unpluging the sensor, I would check the plug, a wire may have gotten messed up or the plug needs cleaning..... If something goes wrong and you only messed with one thing, it has to be what you messed with.....unless of course it was built in the UK jk of course. |
