Please Help. Have done a search on the BB's and not found much helpful. My Service Engine light just came on on my '97 Disco. Is this tripped by mileage? (right at 84K on it now) or is there a problem that needs to be checked and if so, how critical is it for immediate attention. Regards, Paul |

You can follow those directions listed to reset the service engine light. Mine also came on this last weekend, right at 84K miles plus change. On my '97 however, I had to remove the cover from the small TRW box in order to cross the posts. There were actually three posts to cross on my box that were not directly below the hole in the cover. It worked fine and the light is now out. |
