Last week the LR dealership replaced my drivers window my 03 Disco. Now when Im driving down the highway around 70-80 mph there is a noticeable wind noise coming from the drivers window when the window is fully closed. Im not familiar with the window closing mechanism but is there an adjustment mechanism in the door that will fine tune how far the window needs to close? |

I have the same wind noise coming from the door frame/ windown of my 01 D2. It started approxiametly after I had my driver's door check strap replaced, which may have involved removing the door or window. I just haven't had time to go back to the dealer and let them deal with it yet. If I turn up the stereo I can't hear it, and so I guess I'll live with it until the next time I'm at the dealer. |

This is a chestnut. LR doors are two piece. The dealerships either are not trained to know how to properly reassemble the doors or can't be bothered. They leave the window angled out away from the top of the car more than it should be. I have long since given up expecting this problem to be resolved by the dealer. |
