Credit for this idea goes to RTE. However it's a neat solution, I haven't seen it mentioned elsewhere, and I think it deserves to be shared. Will post a picture later (when I get round to taking a picture). Take 2 off http://www.colemanracing.com/section/index.htp?id=679 part # 900-333 (or whatever other diameter your bullbar / rack bar / etc. is). This part includes a 1/2"-13tpi thread. Throw in a 1 inch bolt in the first hole to prevent rotation, and then in mounting hole insert a 2.3" stud. Lock this stud in place with a nut, which also acts as a spacer. Put a SAE size washer on top. Then the jack. Then a spring split washer. Then a butterfly nut. Done. |

Nice job, but that's been done for a few years by quite a few people. Seems to be one of the more popular choices for mounting the Hi-Lift. |

I strap mine to the rear seat mounts.....never moves an inch. Cost $1.73. |
