These are the H3 pickup version that will be shown at LA auto show in January. Just imagine this version as a 4-door wagon and you get the idea. The interior that will be shown is still concept though. http://www.auto-motor-sport.de/sixcms/media.php/23/01_Hummer_450.jpg http://www.auto-motor-sport.de/sixcms/media.php/23/03_Hummer_450.30871.jpg http://www.auto-motor-sport.de/sixcms/media.php/23/02_Hummer_450.30869.jpg Its to bad LR seems to be softening their designs although I would expect 2008 Defender to still be hard edge, I hope. |

Looks like a toy truck. Like an R/C pickup with "futuristic lights and realistic sounds" Meh. If Rover can't capitalize on this opportunity they deserve to continue the downward spiral they're in.

Oh please, GM. It doesn't get much more poseur than this. Underneath, it's a Chevy pickup, leaf springs and all. |

I thought it was based on a coil setup like the Trailblazer. I think it looks `cute' kinda like it want's to play with the real trucks. |

People will snatch these things like hotcakes and make money for GM regardless if it is capable off-road let alone reliable on road. |

i think the H2 adn H3 are great looking. GM is marketing them just right. they have the owners convinced that there trucks are just small versions of the big H1. sort of like how LR convinced people that the Freelander is an offroader. rd |

Here's why I'm supposing that the H3 will be pickup-based: http://www.thecarconnection.com/index.asp?n=158,178&sid=178&article=6590. The platform is said to be the new Colorado pickup. |

Looks like you're right... I remember early reports stating that it was based on the Trailblazer/envoy... either way it's trash and an exploit of the name. |

"To complement the H3T's solid structure with a "go anywhere, do anything" aesthetic, GM and Nike designers collaborated on several key aspects of the vehicle's design. " and thats a good thing because?....

Because it's "a bad boy in a black tie." Or something. At the same time that it gives "a more sporting and dynamic driving sensation" and "a new type of luxury", "the off-road superiority is all there." Oh please. |

Because every purchase of an H3T will contribute to the stock share profits of executives in three companies, not just one.
I like the little storage areas on the side, and I like the canvas roof (see my old post about hacking the roof off of a Discovery), and the relative lack of cargo box intrusions/wheelwells would be a good thing too...surprised no one's really done that with a pickup before... |
