Jess,

I have a '97 D1 with 103K miles and recently (last two weeks) did the following. Before you read this list, I must say that I tend to overdo things. But, I am not the type to lift or modify my Rover in any way; it looks pretty much the same today as it did new in 1997. I also consider this peace of mind. This is a non-detailed overview hitting the major points:

Shocks
Springs
Brake Rotors
Brake Pads, pins, and springs
Brake Lines
Hub Seals and gaskets (replaced as part of rotor replacement)
Tighten Valve Cover Bolts
Replace all rubber hoses (I promise there are not really that many)
Replace engine oil crankcase gasket
Replace Drive Shaft U-Joints (front and rear)
Replaced steering ball joints
Replace Temp. Sending Unit (Gauge)
Replace Aux. Fan Temp Sending Unit
Clean Idler Air Stepper Motor
Check Battery, Starter, and Charging
Check/Replace Battery Cables
Check/Replace any worn wiring conduit(s)
Adjust Swivel Preload
Lube Hood Latch Cable
Rebuild Brake Master Cylinder
Replace Spark Plugs
Replace Spark Plug Wires
Bushings:
Panhard Rod
Radius Arm, Front L and R
Radius Arm, Rear L and R
Stabilizer Bar, Frame, L and R
Stabilizer Bar, Link, L and R
Rear Trailing Arm, Upper, L and R
Rear Trailing Arm, Lower, L and R
Trailing Arm Mount, (Triangle), L and R
Stabilizer Bar, Frame, L and R
Stabilizer Bar, Link, L and R

I also did other detailed easy-peasy things. This looks like a huge list, and I am sure that others can either add or subtract from this list. Again, this is what I felt like I wanted to do. It actually didn't take that long (and I work slowly). Good luck.

The schedules should be posted in the TECH section -- but they are not.

accumulate it all and submit it, If it is accurate and complete I am sure they would add it to the tech section.

Ask not what discoweb can do for you but what you can do for discoweb:-)

DAP Inc. sells a kit for $100 without hardware, $170 with hardware. Everything you need.

But, unless you have at least a 6-ton shop press and the proper fittings (or large sockets as a substitute), you might reconsider. Only the Panhard Rod bushings probably need replacing. The rest might not be totally necessary. Like I said, I love to overdo things.
