Hmmm, well outside of a pure electrical fault, the only thing I can think of is a bad diff lock sensor or diff lock sesnor out of adjustment. The sensor has a jam nut on it to raise it up/down and conceivably it could be adjusted down just a tad too far making a partial contact - this is just a maybe (??). Problem is you have to remove the console and shifter plate to get to the sensor. Bill |

If you engage the diff lock, drive around or whatever, disengage it, and the light is still on, then you need to put it in reverse and "unwind." I had my diif lock engaged this morning in the snow. I reversed a little ways, then disengaged it, but the light was still on. So I reversed a little bit more, and the light went out. I'm probably just blabing on about what you already know, but what the heck! Too many damn comas Matt |
