My DII bottle jack was leaking oil so I took it apart. The jack has a ripped rubber gasket along the bottom seal. Does anyone know if a seal kit is available for these jacks??

I've seen an almost identical looking jack sold at Home Depot. They might sell the appropriate gasket. Jamil |

Andrew, Are you still within your warranty period? LR has had trouble with some bottle jacks that have been lemons. Was told if it did not work right during the warranty period it would be replaced for free by Land Rover. (Mine has worked fine to date) Good Luck, Jamie |

Bottle jacks are sooooooo cheap it might not even be worth the trip / time to go back to the dealership and / or repair it. |

My dealer said the jack was -not- covered under the extended warranty. I've seen them for $45 on ebay. but,... thought I'd try to fix this one first. |
