The C-Reader (CReader) for a measly $40US works great on my '96 Disco. Reads and clears OBDII codes. You can find this at HarborFreight.com or there is always someone flogging a bunch of them on eBay. It was easier for myself, in Canada, to get the one off the guy on eBay. * This is just an FYI for the archives.

Yes, buy one now so you can save on your therapy bills. That big ugly orange/yellow one that is kind of obscured by the steering wheel, but you can still see the glow from behind it.  |

it clears the check engine light if you let it run through 4 cycles of displaying the fault codes. not sure if it clears the red srvice engine light. cheers, carl |
