I have a 97 Disco, I'm 23, and am trying to decide what to ask Santa for Christmas. I'm guessing Santa has about $400 to spend at most. Any ideas for my Disco?

take the money and go on a wheelin trip! Even if your Disco's stock, it'll still wheel great. Experience will get you farther down the trail than bolt ons. (and wheelin is more fun than wrenchin!!)

Spend the $ on gas, food, motels?, and recovery gear and come down for the Mojave desert trip over New Years. Be at Baker, CA on 12/30 for 3-4 days of great wheelin. You'll love it, and a great change of pace from the terrain near you.

Ken, Come down to Moab! I was stationed at Ft Lewis '79-'82 (2/75th Inf RNGR ABN), thats a nice part of the country! Maybe I should come up there!
Really, come down here and I'll take you down Pritchet Canyon, yes a stock Disco will do it.
Let me know if your interested,
Lewis

I'd love to come down to the Moab. Ive always wanted to do it. Im still a student in school and have classes... Otherwise Id be down there in a second. Putting the money in the maintainance account doesnt sound like much fun.... hmm... I'll have to think about it.

your never to old for santa to bring ya Rover stuff:-)
Your right about it not being fun Ken! It helps if you can get a cool new tool to help with the work!
I've got a buddy coming up from Dallas around christmas, if you can get the time then just add gas and come on over. We'll put you up in a spare room and feed ya. I remember how broke I was all thru college :-) It sucked, but it does pay off later.
Think it over,
Lewis

Lewis - I know exactly where Fort Lewis is. My uncle is Sgt Mgr John Kennedy. You might know of him. I grew up in GigHarbor on the sound and was always at Ft Lewis.

I'll think about it. Thanks for the invite. Does the invite include beer and a house full of Sorrority Sisters? I am in college!!! LOL
