I went to open my door this morning and it was froze so I pulled on the handle real hard and it broke in half. I was just wondering if anyone knew how to remove it and where i can get another one. 1995 discovery. Thanx |

I have some...As far as removing it is concerned grab some tools. Screw driver, ratchet and 10mm, 8mm? sockets First unscrew the screw behind the inside door handle. Next take a socket with an extension and take off the grab handle. Gently pull the door "plastic panel" off and unplug the speaker. Remove the interior plastic shield from the door or pull it down a bit. Release the rod linkage going to the handle. Next there are two bolts 8mm I beleive holding the handle in. Loosen and wahla you have removed the handle. Replace and redo. Not to bad of a job and an easy fix for the Do it yourselfer. Best of luck, Will |
