97 Disco 1 - normal alarm operation is lock it using the FOB, the flashers flash 3 times and the dash LED flashes rapidly for 10 seconds then slows down as it should. Unlock using the FOB, the flashers flash once and the dash LED does not flash. For some reason I've yet to figure out, it goes through a period when the flashers will flash three times when locked as normal, but when unlocked, you have to press the FOB twice and the flashers will not flash once. When this happens, the dash LED flashes in a sequnece of 2 rapid flashes about 15-20 times then extinguishes. If it's unlocked with the key, the flashers flash once like they should. This is about the 3rd time it's done it and it seems that magically, it starts working right after a period of a few weeks. What have I done, or not doing right here? |
