Takes a while for the water to spray on rear windshield, understand there is some type of one way valve that keeps the fluid from seeping back.Where is this thing located and where do I purchase a new one? |

I think its the nozzle itself at the end. It holds the fluid at the nozzle and keeps it from siphoning back down the hose. Sounds like thats what is happening to yours. You might be able to take it off and check with your local auto-zone type store and find something that works for a lot less $ than the rover piece. |

i just thought, there may be a tiny leak in the hose itself. Not enough to make a mess with the fluid, but enough to allow the fluid to run back down the inside of the hose. |

Sounds like the check valve. The rover piece is less than $4. |

Where is the check valve located? Did not look for it yet but my guess would be somewhere near the resevoir. Are there 2 of them and which is for the rear window? |

Check valve is behind washer fluid reservoir - worst part of the job is removing that damn thing It is a small black plastic button that is right after the rear washer pump. Bill |
