Annoying Noise coming from Steering W...

I have lubed up both ends inside of the car and outside with greese and with spray lubricants but still get the noise. It seems like some plastic parts are rubbing together, but I cannot get access to this area. I even tried to push some grease inside the boot but something is rubbing together? I hadn't heard the noise since last winter, but since the night time temps started to dip lower it suddenly appeared. Once the interior of the car warms up it seems fine (or the radio's too loud to hear it). I have tried to source the sound to the firewall, but seems to be coming from the dash area. Turn the steering wheel and apply a bit of vasaline between the back of the steering wheel and the ignition cowl. cheers wizard
