I saw something about this a while back but can not find it. I also did a search and come up empty. One of my remotes works and the other stopped. I changed the battery and it worked for a very short time. Took that battery out and checked it and put another in any way and still no luck. Is this a dealer fix or what? |

If it's a single button you can try to reprogram the bad remote, if its a two button unit I believe you have to take it to the dealership. |

I had a remote that went bad but came to find out the battery was fine and the code was as well. When I opened it I found that plastic pieces that are under the rubber pads had broken and not making a connection. I tried to glue them back it worked for a while but finally wore out. |

I just opened mine up to check the plastic pieces. Mine quit working about 2 weeks ago. A new battery did nothing. When I pulled the circut board out it looked like it had mud in it. May have been coffee. Something brown and stickey. I used a soft brush and cleaned it out. Now that thing works from about 20 feet away. |
