Something else to keep in mind when you're reading innocent posts on Dweb:

Taken from the forum of markfiore.com:
"Okay it is time for us to leave off pulling our own collective chain. The game is over , the fat lady has left the dock, and all the other dopey clichés. Now that Jesse James has been collared, and the re-election of the dauphin is assured without any fix being invoked, it is time to accept that the reign of The Evil Imperial Bush Dynasty is in place."
or my personal favorite:
"If anyone wants loyal opposition - look to Kucinich. If you want another corporate stooge - look to Dean or his clones. If you want facsists - look at what we have now. If you don't like the choices - support someone else and volunteer to do something about it. Because it is NOT over."

All we need is a hotlink to provide paypal donations to ANSWER and moveon.org!

It should be noted that those were personal comments written by individuals on an open forum and had little or nothing to do with my post...

Well, I laughed at the cartoon anyway. Whatever those comments were, Fiore wasn't saying that stuff. As I interpreted the cartoon, it was about not being materialistic at Xmas, and that's a good, old message.

Bill,
I wasn't directing the posts as a reflection on you, I was merely adding them as, after I looked at the linked cartoon, I then went on the nuclear proliferation one-which was somewhat less subtle in its leanings than even the Christmas one, and then I entertained myself for awhile reading the forums. I just thought it was worth sharing, I really wasn't passing judgement-except for the paypal donation thing, which was all in good fun.

Everyone's allowed to think what they want, it is America afterall.
