Hey all, my 94 Disco has 78,000. It has been developing I guess what you would call a ping and it's getting consecutively worse. It's actually more like a tinny rattle from the engine. I've herd that this can remedied from a simple valve adjustment. Any insight? Thx. |

Check your timing, or try Premium fuel? I had the same thing happen to my 95D and found that my timing was too advanced! also after getting the timing back to spec, I had to move to Premium gas to completely get rid of the Pinging in the engine!! |

Check your exhaust manifolds or Cats. Sounds like you have a leak. |
