After clearing trouble codes what is a "driving cycle" that resets the sensors? Do I have to drive a minimum amount of miles at a minimum speed and make a minimum amount of stops? If so, does anyone know what they are?

I believe it is driving for approx 45 min., getting the car up to full temperature.

Could it be the driving time it takes for your computer to "learn" , or "relearn", your cars perameters given off by the sensors ? For instance, what the information your cars sensors are sending to it,...what type of fuel you are using....
when you reboot the computers trouble codes I believe it takes some miles for your car to gather info on whats going on with the different sensors.

how many miles do you need to drive on a d1 for the sensors to reset? also is it the case that once you clear the codes it will take the 200 miles to tell you if the problem still exists? or if there is a problem will the code be thrown the next time the problem occurs?
