Anybody have problems with a jiggly steering column on D2's? I'm not talking about free play or loose steering feel but the actual column itself. Every time I hit a sharp bump in the road I get a loose jiggling feeling through the column. Makes the vehicle feel kinda cheap like an old pickup truck or something. I've done the obvious and tried the tilt adjustment in various position but it still feels jiggly. |

I have a 99 D1 and have the same problem. It's only when I hit a sharp bump, the steering wheel goes kinda crazy. It's almost a little scary at times. I'm still not sure what it is. I wonder if I need an alignment or what? I'd love for someone to chime in. |

If the wheel seems to turn when you hit a bump start with replacing the steering damper |
