I have within the past year changed the pads and rotors on my D2. Lately I've been getting a squeak from the right hand side, but not when the brakes are applied. I can hear it just when the car is going under 30 mph. I have taken both right side tires off and inspected my brake jobs, and found nothing wrong, but the little screw holding the rear rotor on was loose. I tightened this up and put locktite on the threads, but the problem persists. I know I really should determine if the sqweak is coming from the front or back, but does anyone have an idea why it is making this noise? I just dont want to be screwing my brakes! |

Did you spray disc brake anti squeal on the back of the pad before installing them? |

I used anti squeal on the brake pads when I changed them. I just dont understand why it makes the noise when Im not braking. The rotors look fine, but maybe the one that squeaks is warped? It wouldnt be too much work to have this checked...I would appreciate any ideas on this. Thanks |
