Check out the thread " Wheelin; video with friends" in the Gen-non tech section there is a gut with a 40 series flowmaster that sounds great but it is LOUD.

I personally had magnaflow on my 94, it was toned way down with a little growl but didnt intrude into the cabin.

I am absolutely happy with my Bosal muffler and no resonator! Outside the truck it has a slight burble, inside it is quiet - just enough tone to be heard over the MTR's, not ricey or flame-painted American truck V8 goofy though.:-)

NRP. It will be the last exhaust you'll ever buy.

I put a cheap turbo muffler on from Kragen. It cost me less than $20 and it has work perfectly for 2 years. I also have a flowmaster muffler on and I did not notice any decrease in performance. As this is just used for a resonantor any turbo muffler will work. I used a 14" turbo muffler.

Give north east british parts a call pretty sure they can hook you up with a set of headers and a full system with some decent HP gains - not listed on their website though

Midas's version of the Flowmaster 40 is ok. Thats what I have on mine, had Midas: cut out resonator , replace with pipe and install their version of the 40 and am happy. I had a FL40 I installed on a Ford Truck and beleive the Midas
'mantra' that theirs is 'thicker' metal. (its black and called: Raven, blackbird, or ?)

I have been using a brand called "Bullet" (http://www.bulletperformance.com/um_dual_9t.htm). It gives a slightly better flow and sound. I have not removed the secondary resonator.

I am happy with it so far, it was about $120 installed.
