I thought my truck was getting ready to explode. Noise, rumbling, shaking, slipping - it sure scared me. Sales guide had been having me apply a little brake, a little gas, etc. When all the racket started, my airhead solution was to give it plenty of brake and gas at the very same time. This is embarrasing, but I've tried going up that hill 5 times and I've never made it to the top yet without burning rubber. The "blacktop hill" might reach as high as 2 stories tall, so that's pretty darn bad!
