Is there an alternative "brand" or location to by a tension pulley for my 1997 Discovery 4.0 V-8? I've called local shops, foreign garages, Automotive stores (Napa, Discount, ect...) and they do not carry the pulley. Is there a different pulley I can maybe use from another car/engine? Mine froze up on my last night on the drive home. I called the dealer but they are closed for Christmas and I need to get back to where I live the day after Christmas early. Thanks.

I dont know?

are the bearings all that died?

they can be rebuilt with new bearings from napa.

if the pulley itself I would be on the net looking for someone that has it and will overnight it.the services do deliver on christmas and the eve. so you could have part in hand if you try.

yes Bill, I did check, I need the whole pulley. My pulley has a crack in it. I saw your (I'm guessing if want yours) serpintine Idler pulley part from NAPA. I called the Napa here and they suggested that.
