There was another post on this recently. Mine does the same thing, but normally if you push down on the lever it will provide an instant on effect. I just do that until all is well. When it stops working I will find the problem. Of course I don't use wipers much anyway.....Rain X does wonders.

Thats exactly whats going on with mine the momentary works always then I wait till it warms
up.I think the only thing to do is take apart motor and clean all contacts, rainx does work well but leaves that funk of an odor.
thanks.

I doubt it is the motor if the momentary works fine. I would say more along the lines of the switch or a relay, but like I said I haven't looked into it yet....Let me grab the manual and see what it says.

I'm not worried yet either just anoyed as I'm sure you are,I have a manual as well.I'm thinking along the lines of relay contacts probably they need to be cleaned and sprayed with wire dryer. But I agree its not the motor the motor
will either turn or it wont.

LOL, raining here in Phx this morning and my wiper switch wasn't working, but flip the stalk down and the instant once-over works. Therefore, I assume it's the rotating switch mechanism. I better fix it before it rains again next year...
