Santa was very good to me this year ... he brought all FOUR DiscoWeb dvd's this year. Thanks guys for some great footage. It was very romantic sitting by the fire watching "Dusy Ershim".
:-)
Merry Christmas ,
Jim

No plans for one at this time. Maybe if we get some decent east coast footage in 2004.

Axel records most and on each video there is credit when someone else is on the camera. Will, you need to check it out. The carnage is amazing and 2-3 weeks of solid trail riding is indurance at it's finest.

Santa brought me the same gift. Couple of questions though. How did Kyle get his diff fixed between rubicon and dusy? Also how did the guys with the rovertym sliders do? That 110 was sweet, but it must have been a royal pain in the ass on those tight spots, kudos to Sean for using such an expensive truck. Oh yeah you guys had everthing but the kitchen sink in those trucks. Nice way to break out the welder, and I noticed you looked clean at the campsites. I would love to see a list of supplies for a trip like that, ie food, oils, repair tools.

Why do you ask, Will? If you had seen the videos you would have known the answer, since that information is listed in the end credits. You would also have known from the included previews what the next planned video is. Since we must deduce that you haven't seen any of the videos, your previous question regarding plans for a new east coast video is absurd, since you most likely haven't seen the first one yet, and thus that video is new to you.

My DVD's arrived today. I'm looking forward to watching all four of them. :-)

I'm also hoping that I will be able to figure out who the participants are. If anyone is brave enough to tell me who you are on any of them and what your rover looks like, that would be really cool.

At least now I'm not wondering who in the world Dushy is!! :-)

Thanks, Jamie

Dusy Ershim is a trail in California. On the Rubicon and Dusy Ershim videos, there are a caption telling you who is who when each truck is first shown. Enjoy the show!

anyone that has over 100 posts on here and dosent own atleast 1 of these videos is just a fool.

discoweb is free because these guys work hard to keep it that way, spending a few bucks to support the site and get some great rover action on dvd is a no brainer.

We have the first two videos and need to order Rubicon and Dusy...I must admit though, that the Back East one has gotten the most play time (probably just because we are Virginians!) and has actually had some skipping problems!!! (I'm thinking that is our fault.....) We love watching them over again and even showing them off to Jeep friends!

I would certainly look forward to a follow-up in the next year or so. Maybe some MAR stuff?! :-)

Great job as usual guys. Look for my order as soon as we get out of Christmas debt!

Oh my gosh! You are just not going to believe this!

My dogs and I are sitting outside in our back yard enjoying the cool northern breeze that will soon freeze us.

I've been sitting out here with my laptop for about an hour trying to figure out how to play DiscoWeb DVD's on my computer.

Darned if I just didn't get it to start! Figured out how to take the sound off "mute". Just watched 2 discoveries flying across sand. I decided to watch the DVD's that will have commentary on who is driving in the videos and have started with Rubicon. I just paused DVD at Black Rock Desert.

I'm just so happy about this that I had to post since I'm also online while watching movie. This takes "multitasking" to a whole new level fo me.

This is just WAY TOO COOL. I'm snickering to myself because I'm thinking that from now on I will take my computer, my DiscoWeb DVD's, and a headset when I have to go places that I'd prefer to ignore the happenings around me!!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
This is just absolutely positively way too cool!!

I hear there's quite a snow storm going on up there. Can you believe our temps have been in the 80's all week??

Gotta go, I've got movies to watch :-) :-) :-)

Jamie

p.s. Nice cases and pics on the DVDs!!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! WHAT FREEDOM YOU ALL ENJOYED!! IT IS GORGEOUS OUT THERE!! :-) :-)

When & where are you going next?

Who will fly down here & be co-pilot traveling to next destination and big adventure?

This DVD is blowing away all of my misconceptions - the way you guys fuss at each other sometimes, I thought you guys must be grouchy OLD men!! (sorry :-) )

I'm luving the personalized license plates :-)

Anyone who hasn't gotten these DVDs/Videos, you've just got to get them!! :-) :-)

Axel, I have to agree with Jamie. Fantastic DVD's. Sorry I waited so long to acquire them. Put me at the top of your list for the 5th one.
Thanks for shooting them.

Thanks, glad you liked them! Just wait until you see the next one, that will be the first where we are using minicameras in addition to the handheld. You can see some of that in the Moab preview.

I'm still going nuts over the Rubicon DVD, I haven't moved on to the others yet -- there are some manuevers in it that are totally astounding me with the creativity displayed in the solutions for getting thru the terrain.

Jim, are you heading to Ft McCoy next weekend? We're still undecided, but doing repairs JIC.

Jim,

Annual Shindig or something. FL4WDA volunteer forest ranger orientation Sat AM, trail rides Sat PM, then big trail maintenance projects on Sun in several areas of the forest. Hosted this year by the Ocala Jeep Club. 300-400 off road vehicles expected. I'll forward the info I have received to your email address. No one else from my area of the state is going as far as I can tell.

Jamie
