My cruise control was not working so I did the search and found lots saying to check for vacuum line cracks. What I found was the line completely off the throttle control and off the "T" on the other end. The hose was just laying there on the brake booster. I need to know if this will or was causing damage to the motor? The "T" end of the vacuum line was just open to engine compartment? Or should I not worry.
