I just installed the factory 6 disk. I keep getting an error message on the radio display. I can hear the disks loading, but they won't play. What am I missing? Thanks Doug |

Just did mine the other day. Pull out the in dash receiver and hook up the wire. They left it unplugged from the factory. |

Thanks, I turned the disks label down and it worked great for about 10 min. Then the damn error message was displayed again. I removed the disks and it still didn't help. Any ideas for my new problem? Thanks Doug

You should post what you did to actually solve it so when someone does a search in the future.

Can you describe the steps in installing/removing a changer? My 99D1 was totaled on the 17th and I'm going to strip it of the easy parts (adventure rack-sold, lights-keeping, changer, fire extinguisher, belongings, etc.). I'm sure that I need to remove the plastic from around the seat bottom. Thanks |

I removed the pass. seat. The floor had the mounting plates already there. I mounted it to the factory brackets and pluged it into the factory wires. My problem was one screw was to long that went to the bracket and CD player. It was stopping the cds from loading. I trimmed the screw a little and the problem was solved. Doug |
