Who thinks what's a better tire? I am looking at getting G90s. Dunno if LRSV did a lotta homework before choosing the G90 for the WOLF of if they took a check.

Cooper - I might be, do you have 6 of them lying around?

Depends on what you want your tires for. The XZL is tough as nails. A buddy of mine did a 'round the world trip with a Camel 110. 40K miles and no flat tires. And that's going through pretty nasty roads in the middle east and asia. The down side is that (IMHO) the ride quality on the XZLs is pretty poor. They're a bit rough and don't wear evenly at all.

I've got a set of XZLs on my 130 and I can't wait to get them off of there.

I don't have any experience with the G90, but I've heard it's a pretty good all around tire, not as agressive as the XZL, more like an all terrain.

Thanks,

Thanks for the input Nathan. Perhaps all the SAS guys were complaining and the G90s offer a smoother ride.

Wicks,

Why don't you keep your road tires on your alloys and then mount the XZL's on your wolf's. Swap your wheelset when you off roading. Best of both world's - good daily driving and good offroading depending what you are running. Both sets will last longer as well.

I'm doing the musical wheel thing now too. Pirelli Scorpion S/Ts on alloys for the street - save the XZLs for the fun stuff.

FYI BTW, BTDT = Been there done that FWIW.
