When I bought my 97 D1 the cruise control switch on the steering wheel was broken. I have found a second hand one which looks in great condition. Now I need to try and install it. Are there any precautions I need to do so as not to deploy the air bag? How hard is it to get inside the steering wheel? Thanks Darryll

If you unplug the battery there should be no issues. We have removed a dozen steering wheels in the past few months and that has been our only precaution. Will |

You have checked the small lines for the cc, yes? I believe they are small vacuum lines. |
