*sighs* So here i am - installed ARB, test drove it for a wee bit, installed and tested compressor, and trying to get set up finished - getting wiring up. But i can not figure out where the heck i can hook up to ignition and dash illumination line... :-(

Help please...

I run all the wires together to a fuse box off battery.
ARB Switch isolates compressor.

Bazzle, thanks, i thought about same approach, but i was not sure that full power line from battery wont fry switches. Guess i just will try and if it dies - what the heck :-) Can always invent something else.

use a big ol' Hella relay w/fuse to keep the wires cool.

Should of said compressor motor runs thru relay to batt (controlled by sw)
Did yours come withe ARB wiring loom? It has the relay in it already.

Lewis - unfortunately it wont work as line to switch es is going inside wiring loom, so i cant isolate it using relay - will require extra switch sliced in

Bazzle - yep it has relay on main power line, but there are extra two bits that hangs of loom piece that goes to switches. Those sppse to be spliced into ignition and illumination lines. Those are ones that i was puzzled with.

Anyway folkz, i just caved in and spliced line that goes for internal illumination line - its always on, but its protected & etc. I figured if regular switch for internal light wont melt there - then arb switch shall not too :-) So its all solved. Thanks for suggestions, though.

At last my ARB project fully finished :-)

Damn - now i need to find new project to work on...
