Bad storm last night dropped a tree branch on my DII hood, and left two very small dimples. No cracked paint or anything. Has anyone ever used any of those dent fixing specialists? Are they worth it? I'm hoping this is just a simple fix... |

Dave 2yrs ago we had a bad hail storm. I had 2 dents in my hood. I went to Cindy Rowe where they have that paintless repair. It did not work for my D1 they said the hood has 2 layers and that is why it did not smooth out like it should. You can only see it if you look hard for it. So they did not charge me for it. Good luck, I would go to a body shop the next time |

You could always use the dry ice and a torch method....works for hail damage. John |

Heat the indented area with a torch, be careful not to burn/scorch anything. Then place dry ice on the area you heated. The indented ding should pop out. John |
