My alarm light on my dash blinks like an epileptic doing moris code when I get in the truck. This is a new one to me. What does it mean? |

Did your alarm get set off recently? Anything out of the ordinary? |

Start your engine and it should stop. That happens in mine when I accidentally set off the alarm - the flashing light won't stop until the engine is started. Jamie

Greg it is going to flash wierd if it was triggered while you were away. It is the system telling you there was an alarm since it was last set. -Jim |

We also see it when the battery gets low after shipping/sitting still for a few days. |

I don't think it was set off. It has been happening a lot lately. Battery seems good. Maybe just a Lucas thing. |

Greg, It has happened frequently to me too. It happens when I'm walking away from my truck and carrying too much stuff with my keys squished in whatever I'm carrying. I must inadvertantly hit the remote buttons wrong (or something). The audible alarm never goes off, just the flashing light. It's annoying because I have to reach in and start engine to get the flashing light to stop. Jamie |
