Hello all, I am installing a CD player in a 96 disco. I wanted to bypass the stock amplifier to connect the speaker wires from the radio. On the 95 disco's I know the amp is under the front passanger seat, but where is it on a 96 disco? I have power seats so I am guessing Land Rover did not place the amp there due to the motors of the power seats. I also checked the front drivers seat with no luck. Can someone help shed some light on this for me? Thanks Drew |

Wait a tick...I dont think you need to bypass the amp on a 96. I think if you put a noise isolater it will be good. I had an aftermarket unit in my 96 and I dont think they had to bypass the amp when I got it installed. BTW, the amp is either where Josh says or behind the kick panel in the same footwell. |

Its passenger side wall right below glove box. Must take kick pannel off as well as the the tan plastic piece cover the wall. if u take the glove box off it makes it much easyer to access.I know ive taken all that stuff off about 4 times now in my 96. |
