I've got a 99 Disco 2 that needs new brakes (pads and rotors). I am located in British Columbia, Canada, where parts seem to be limited, so I have looked at DAP's brake kit and have since emailed Nathan for a price also on a kit. Has anyone order brakes from either of these dealers. Do I need to go with LR parts? Thanks

Haven't used either of those, but I did recently (November) pick up slotted/drilled rotors from Atlantic British, and Ferodo pads for the front (00 DII). They were a snap to change. cost about 350 with shipping, I think. Half what LR wanted for the front job. Cost more than the OEM/replacement rotors, but supposedly the drilled/slotted ones will last a bit longer, stop better, etc. see the write up on disco2.com about the different types if you aren't familiar with them. |

You can't go wrong with Nathan. I've bought from him with all good experiences. He won't sell you stuff you do not need. |
