33's on disco series II

Originally I had about 2.5", but the tires would still occasionally bottom out in the wheel wells under full compression of the suspension. So I wouldn't do any less than 2.5-3". Only slight rubbing on Radius arm, fixed by adjusting stops.   Greg Bright (Gregd2) Member Username: Gregd2 Post Number: 122 Registered: 06-2002 Posted on Wednesday, January 07, 2004 - 07:08 pm:    I ran 255x85's on stock alloys and 2" OME lift (779's in front, 763's in rear) for two years. No rubbing, did have to adjust steering stops a little. Rear fenders were trimmed and ARB on the front. The stock drivetrain didn't like them 33's much though. Stick with 265x75's, you'll have a lot less problems.
