Hey everyone- For some reason my cell phone power cord/charger/hands-free thingy will not work in my disco II when I plug it into the cigarette lighter. The dealer thinks I need to get some sort of adapter but Radio Shack doesn't seem to carry anything that would fit over or onto my power cord. Has anyone else had this problem and, if so, what did you do? Thanks. |

Andrew, A lot of European cars have what is called a "cigar lighter" instead, it's a bit larger in diameter. The cell-phone cord that my wife has came with said-sleeve that allows it to fit more snugly into the socket. FWIW..... -L |

Andrew, Radio Shack should have them. Usually, you plug the adapter into your cig plug and leave it there. Then you just plug your 12V cord into the adapter. There are several types. They've even got some that are on a hinge which is nice because you can turn your 12V cord out of the way. You might check online at www.valcoelectronics.com Good Luck, Jamie |

I had to use a sleeve to run my GPS in my DII (It fit in my Jeep without one) Got it at Fry's in Dallas for less than a dollor for three. Radio Shack here in Moab has them. |
