I've heard rumors that Tractech is releasing an Electrac for rovers in the next few months. I've emailed them but no response yet. Anyone heard? |

I haven't heard the rumors yet but I hope they do. It will make a nice alternative to the big three currently available. And besides, I have my old EAS switches sitting idle just waiting for such an application. SC |

Greg, don't count on it. I've pestered them off and on for months for an answer and have been told "no" every time. I'm not optimistic about it, but if you find out differently, keep us posted.... |

I'm hoping as well. It would be a no-brainer especially for front diff-all the benefits of a TT for normal driving with lift (wandering) and lockable when you need it. If I hear anything I'll let you know- Steve-meant to introduce myself and say hello at SCLR meeting at LA auto show. Are you going to Truckhaven Jan 17? |

FWIW-I received an email today from Scott Frary, Tractech Aftermarket Sales Manager, stating that they do intend to market a Land Rover diff Electrac. His best guess is late 2005. |

Greg, yes I'll be at Truckhaven. See ya there. Late 2005? Well, they should have ironed out the actuator issues by then, hopefully it'll all be internal like the rumored new D44 version. SC |

Greg, I sent an e-mail to them when they did the press release for their current product, and the response was "some time in 2005" too. Victor |
