I live in a very wet climate and have been experiencing water leaking out of the headliner. I removed every thing and found that the drainage tubes are draining perfectly yet water leaks through the sunroof motor. I put some RTV around the nuts above the motor which helped, but it still drips. Need Help! Thanks! |

Could you be more specific about where the leak is coming from? Pics maybe? The sunroof gasket has a tendancy to pull up from the opening also so check to be sure it is tight. So - sick of the ice? |

Anyone have thoughts on tire chains? Call me lucky I guess, I have been working on the west side of the coast range all week. One night of freezing rain, not that bad. Ill get the picks up in a day or two. However I noticed today that it leaks much more when the car is parked with the nose pointed down on a slope. |

My rear sunroof is doing the same thing, I believe that my problem lies in it not closing properly to seal. I've had the glass off once to look at it, and at first glance everything appeared to be fine, but I think I may have bent the track a little. (Accidently left it partially open when wheeling, the trip my pic is from) I haven't had the time yet to pull the headliner to check. If anyone has done this and has any helpful hints, they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ryan |

Check the screws the hold the glass in, mine where loose with this same issue. Tighten screws and not a leak in 9 months. Of course don't strip out the nut - Not cheap. Mine got loose again last week (No rain thank God)but it got to over 70 degrees here in WV on the 3rd, so driving with the sunroof open and one of the nuts just came off ($20 on the web or the dealer for one). Now we have snow and ice everywhere again....Glad I just went to the dealer and picked one up. |

I too had the loose screws. Gently tightened them and no more leak. |
