Is anyone using a tail hitch carrier - I know they aren't going to be much use on rigs for rock crawling - but for "expidition work" - Apart from the obvious (you have to unload the basket before opening the back door) any other pro's/con's ? http://www.younger-bros.com/cargo_rack_systems.htm thanks Jeff

I have the cabelas version, with vinyl bag that is very effective at keeping things dry. Used it once never had a need to again...yet... Just do the folks behind you a favor and add the extra tail lights (trailer hook up needed) www.cabelas.com

I use one and actually just used it when I went deer hunting with my son. Saves lots on interior space. I have had mine for almost 10 years now. I built it for a bronco II I had, then went to a Jeep Grand Cherokee and now the Disco. Get one, I like the extra space. Only con is what you stated about the rear door opening. |

I like the one that looks like the spare is mounted to it as well as the rack. Could build an integral ladder as well. Nice. |

I purchased one a few months ago and love it. I use it for all types of things and best of all it is cheap. Here is a link http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=34313 Chris |
