I was searching my LR Workshop Manual on alarm related issues and saw the section on programming the remote key fobs. It is the same in the manual as the one on this site (http://www.discoweb.org/faq/remote.htm) except that the manual does not indicate 94 & 95 models only. This is the "official" LR workshop manual for 95 to 99 but it doesn't say specifically if this only works on 94.95 models. Anyone try this on a 96 or newer D1? I have never had remotes and would like to get some but don't want to pay the dealership $80 to program them. |
