In september Jeep Jamboree is having an event on the Rubicon Trail. The catch is the you use their Jeep Rubicons and Mark Smith the founder of The jamboree also is there. It is pretty big bucks but I considering it since the likelyhood of getting there in my own Disco is limited by the 3000 miles, let alone the remaining modifications to acutally servive. Those damn DWeb videos put a serious bug in my head to run the Rubicon. So am I a trador???? thanks-Jim

I dont think you are a "traitor" its all about fun, but I personally wouldnt run someone else truck. I have run some moderate trails as a passenger in one and the lockers are nice but what isnt with them.

Jim, I don't want you to feel like a traitor, so why don't you just pay all the expenses and I will go in your place, that way you will feel good about the experience, and I promise not to have too much fun :-)

It'll probably be easier in the Rubicon as well.

Watch out for the price of the damage waiver though. ;-)

I'd run someone elses truck ANY day especially if I don't have to pay for any of my mistakes.

With that said though... Pros can get you through a lot of tough stuff. I would imagine that the Rubicon rigs would only make it that much easier. They must be very capable rigs.
