Hey Guys,

I have a '99 Disco II with a cruise control problem. The master light comes on with a click but the steering controls dont do anything when i pull them back.

Any ideas?

I would recommend starting with the hose coming out of the actuator on the passenger side wheelwell. It's rather close to the manifold, and you may find cracks in the bend.

The vacuum line did it, thanks guys. Cruise is "working" now but..... it surges badly, I don't recall the others I drove being this rough.
Any suggestions?

I would suggest replacing all of your vacuum lines. It will cost you about $6 and 15 minutes. The time consuming part is actually removing the vacuum pump from behind the left headlight. While you have it out, test it too. Check archives on how to do that. Just type "EKG" in the search area on keywords and in the body of text...
