98 D1 My remote door locks stopped working the other day. I noticed when I locked them the lights that usually flash 3 times didn't. When unlocked the parking lights would stay on for the ussual couple of seconds. Then it stopped working completely. I then got a new battery in my remote and it worked once but now doesn't work. Is there a fuse that could have blown? What could be the problem? |

Mine did the same thing when the remote became faulty. I replaced the remote with a new one. The old remote would unlock the truck about a block away ---the new replacement one will only work about 10 feet away...but the lights blink correctly Damn. |

Try taking the battery out and putting it back in again. I had trouble with the locks when doing a stereo install. |
