Took my D2 in yesterday so techs could take a look at my instrument panel since the light is not functioning on my odometer/trip meter. They have no clue what is wrong with it, and will need it for at least a day to start taking the instrument panel apart to try to determine the cause because everything else is working as it should be. For the time being, I need to keep my truck with me - so I can't leave it at the dealership. If by some odd coincidence any of you happen to hear of anyone else who had the same funky "light out" problem, will you please keep me in mind and let me know? I'd really appreciate it! Thanks, Jamie |

Don't I wish! For sure, if I find out how I broke it, I will pass along the info so you can break yours! I only REALLY NEED it when it is night and I am tracking something. Having it not backlit is slowing me down. I guess I will try to figure out how I can combine that reading along with the gps page that I am displaying?? Thanks Dean |

it probably shorted out, it's not like a bulb, you need to replace the display... |

this happened on my d1. The connection had come loose on a bulb on the rear bumper. It blew a fuse. Don't know if this is the same problem. Jack |
