Problem: 2 weeks ago speedo and odo stopped working. coincided with replacing my headlight stalk in the steering column. since then OBDII has thrown code p0500 (general VSS malfunction) about every 10th start. otherwise it remains off for long distances. fuse (and clock, on same fuse) is fine. Qeustion: is there a harness or something in the steering column that i could have fouled when replacing the headlight switch? or, is this just a rude coincidence? thanks, carl |
