My stock radio antena broke and am looking for suggestions with replacing either with 'stock like' or is there a more rugged option? |

Since it could happen again, get a $10 retractable antenna from autozone. Access through wheel well. |

First, I tried an electric retractable, but I like to hear music when trail riding, and broke it on a limb. I replaced it with the solid metal rod type that has no adjustments but is very flexable and have not bent it yet. The model for the chevy truck has the small mounting base like the disco and is an easy fit. |

I replaced with an electric retractable but included a switch so I could manually operate it. When I'm on the trail I can still listen to CD's and local radio stations. |
