Calm- IMHO - I think everyone would agree that the entire episode was stupid. Driving up the snow bank was stupid, but many (including Land Rover owners) might consider it fun. Especially after imbibing a few toddy's. Using the VW for a recovery vehicle isn't particularly stupid, with its tires on dry payvement it may have been able to extract the Jeep. Anchoring the line to the WV windshield frame was not only moronic (single digit IQ's here), but it was potentialy dangerous as well. In about six months you will probably see these same people on Peoples Court arguing about who should have to pay for the damage to the VW. They are probably lucky there was not a winch on the front of the Jeep and someplace to anchor it (Like a VW windshield frame.) - | ||

I mean I have done that thing with the snow bank, it was fun and I got stuck. It was only like 4 feet tall though. But I dug myself out and i was fine. It was fun, but would that be bad or just youthful fun? | ||
