I have a friend that has a Y pipe with cats from a 96 Discovery. Wil this Y pipe fit my 95 Discovery. Anything I should know?

are the egines the same dispalcement (96 was a 4.0 and the 95 was a ?)? If they are the same displacement, probably. You also need to consider the type of transmission each vehicle has because the 5 speed and the auto have different cats. Your best bet; take a look and take some measurements. if they look the same and measure the same, you can use it...Doug

doug....mine is a 3.9......will it fit even if the 96's were 4.0?

I believe Will answered you; unfortunately, no. Have you thought about going to a shop and having new cats welded in? Seems like a much more affordable way of get the right thing for your truck.

DON't Do it....the 96 has twice as many o2 sensors in so there are a couple of holes that need filling for starters

Dammit.. :-) Just when i thought I actually had an easy fix and a great deal with a Land rover product it all falls apart. Well, I guess I am not too upset, I am used to it. Haha thanks everyone for your insight and help
