OBD1 to OBD2 any one done it?

Any one done it? the 99 has a coil pack and the 94 has a distributor? Is it hard to transfer the ECU and wireing harness over? Besides my 3.9 have a rod or wrist pin knock and has a bunch of miles. The 4.0 is re strokable up to a 4.6 and beyond.. Are you suggesting i use the OBD 1 set up to manage the fuel and ignition on the 4.0??? there is no distributor hole in the timing cover and if i remember right the oil pump is also different between the two motors.
